Faith Deliverance & Worship Center Statement of Faith We hold firmly to the teachings of Scripture and believe in the power of God to transform lives, restore relationships, and bring healing to broken families. Below is a summary of our core beliefs:
The Scriptures We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is the final authority in all matters of faith, practice, and conduct. Through the Scriptures, God reveals His will for humanity and provides guidance for living a life of purpose and restoration.
God We affirm that there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), who has revealed Himself in three distinct manifestations: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human (John 1:1, 14). He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), and died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world (Romans 5:8). He rose bodily from the grave on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4), ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9), and will return one day in glory to judge the living and the dead (Acts 1:11).
Salvation We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is not earned by works but granted to those who repent of their sins and trust in Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation brings forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and the promise of eternal life (John 3:16).
The Holy Spirit We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the moment of salvation (1 Corinthians 6:19). The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, guides us into truth, empowers us for service, and produces spiritual fruit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23). We also believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are given to build up the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
The Church We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23). The local church is a community of believers called to worship God, grow in faith, and serve others. At Faith Deliverance Worship Center, we are committed to restoring broken relationships, strengthening families, and being agents of healing in our communities.
Marriage and Family We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, instituted by God (Genesis 2:24). It reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33) and is designed to provide love, companionship, and a foundation for raising children. Families are central to God’s plan for society, and we are called to support, strengthen, and restore them according to His Word.
Restoration and Healing We believe in the power of God to heal and restore broken lives, marriages, and families (Psalm 147:3, Isaiah 61:1-3). Through His grace and truth, God offers hope and transformation to those who are lost, hurting, or broken. As a church, we are called to walk alongside the broken, offering compassion, counseling, and biblical solutions for healing and reconciliation.
Eternal Destiny We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who place their faith in Christ will experience eternal life in heaven (Revelation 21:1-4), while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God in hell (Revelation 20:15). Our ultimate hope is in the return of Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God’s kingdom.
The Great Commission We believe that every believer is called to participate in the Great Commission, sharing the gospel with others and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). As restorers and ambassadors of Christ, we are called to be instruments of peace, reconciliation, and transformation in our communities and beyond.
We are committed to living out these truths in our personal lives, families, and communities, trusting in God’s power to bring restoration and healing to a broken world.
